““But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” (Mt 6:6 NKJV)

Prayer must happen in a place but not just any place will do. We must go to a “secret” place where we can quietly meet with God in our secret place. There we will join with God in communication and not reading a list.
