12/20/2022 Ro mans 16:27 to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen. The glorious God is revealed in the eternal obedience, love and sacrifice of Jesus
12/19/2022 Ro mans 15:17 ¶ Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God. Those in Jesus have reason to give God glory, but don’t those who are not have a reason also?
12/18/2022 Ro mans 15:7 ¶ Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. As the glorious God shares love with us we must share His love with others!
12/17/2022 Ro mans 9:4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God , and the promises; Praise God for adopting us!!!
12/16/2022 Ro mans 5:2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Glorify the glorious God and rejoice in Him!!!
12/15/2022 Ro mans 4:20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, How can we glorify the glorious God? By faith we declare we are not god and our God is the glorious God!
12/14/2022 Ro mans 4:2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. Even if we could do good works we still must cry out to God to be justified.
12/13/2022 Ro mans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Every good thing comes from God and all glory belongs to the glorious God!!!
12/12/2022 Ro mans 3:7 For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? Glorify the glorious God.
12/11/2022 Ro mans 1:23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. The Creator is the glorious God and do not give glory to what He has created.
12/10/2022 Ac ts 12:23 Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. A king looks at his kingdom and his pride grows from the fertilizer of praise and gives the glory to himself and dies because he selects death rather than life.
12/9/2022 Ac ts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, The veil between life and death and between earth and heaven is very thin. At the point of giving his life for the glorious God sees the fulfillment of his sacrifice.
12/8/2022 Ac ts 7:2 And he said, “Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, The God of glory. The God of glory appeared. To whom, when and where the God of glory appears a lineage of those who glorify God begins.
12/7/2022 Joh n 11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Faith is the doer to see the glory of God and being able to glorify Him.
12/6/2022 Joh n 11:4 When Jesus heard that , He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” It is so appealing to believe when you come to the glorious God all will be good in your life but how can we believe that when we serve a God who saw the sacrificial death of His Son and the suffering of one of His best friends to be for the glory of God?
12/5/2022 Lu ke 17:18 “Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Shouldn’t God’s people glorify God? How can a “foreigner” glorify God? Anyone who realizes God is the source of good can glorify God!
12/4/2022 Lu ke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Growing up I always looked forward to A Charlie Brown Christmas TV special as part of preparation for Christmas. It could be because I at times feel like a Charlie Brown but later I realized it was because it was one of the few Christmas specials that shared Bible verses to explain the true meaning of Christmas. Take time to read all of Luke chapter 2 as you prepare for Christmas.
12/3/2022 Ps 106:47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph Save us. God, save and deliver us from the enemies around us and even ourselves.
12/2/2022 Ps alm 106:1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. How do we know God is good? Because God is eternally merciful.
12/1/2022 Ps alm 105:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. We can and should thank God directly but we should also give thanks to God before others so they can realize they have a source of hope and help.
11/30/2022 Ps alm 92:1 «A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.» It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: One of the largest books in the Bible is the book of Psalms and as we see from the verse above a psalm is a song. Some chapters even give us the name of a tune that is unknown to us. Notice the worship is directed to God.
11/29/2022 Ps alm 30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. There is something about singing that can encourage and strengthen us. We can put into words something deeper than we can say as we sing. When most people in England were unable to read and write Charles Wesley taught the truth about God and salvation in song. In worship we sing to God. I wonder if God enjoys our worship?
11/28/2022 Ps alm 18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. It is easy to give thanks to God when surrounded by believers but the psalmist reminds us we must give thanks to the glorious God when it is uncomfortable and even dangerous.
11/27/2022 1Ch ronicles 16:35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. Thanks is our response to what God has done for us while praise is declaring and recognizing Who God is.
