December 4 ““ Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” (Mark 13:26 NKJV) The coming of Jesus is – beyond – anything! December 3 ““ the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.” (Mark 13:25 NKJV) As Creation crumbles see the glorious POWER of God in Creation and uncreation! Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
December 2 ““ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;” (Mark 13:24 NKJV) God warns us so we will know there will be troubled times and He will love us through them. December 1 “ Do not be furious, O LORD, Nor remember iniquity forever; Indeed, please look — we all are Your people!” (Isaiah 64:9 NKJV) The glorious God should be furious because our sin is our rejection of Him. November 30 “ But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.” (Isa iah 64:8 NKJV) God being the potter and we being the clay is both painful and intimate. November 29 “ And there is no one who calls on Your name, Who stirs himself up to take hold of You; For You have hidden Your face from us, And have consumed us because of our iniquities.” (Isaiah 64:7 NKJV) The glorious God is still God whether you accept it or not! November 28 “ But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.” (Isa iah 64:6 NKJV) The only way we can understand how good God is to understand how bad we are. November 27 “ For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:5 NKJV) The psalmist shares an example of praise by listing what God does. Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 26 “ Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” (Psalm 100:4 NKJV) Thanksgiving is to celebrate all God has done but to praise is to celebrate Who God is! Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. November 25 “ Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” (Psalm 100:3 NKJV) Recognizing God’s blessings helps us recognize who God is and the character of God. November 24 “ Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.” (Psalm 100:2 NKJV) Thanksgiving produces a desire to sing and to serve. Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 23 “ «A Psalm of Thanksgiving.» Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!” (Psalm 100:1 NKJV) Psalm 100 reveals the meaning of thanksgiving and the process to praise. November 22 ““ As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.” (Ezekiel 34:12 NKJV) God seeks the scattered and desires to deliver them from the dark places we have ‘found’. November 21 “ The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.” (Psalm 34:22 NKJV) By rejecting Jesus we condemn ourselves but with The Lord we are redeemed! November 20 “ Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.” (Psalm 34:21 NKJV) Evil is self-destructive and thus cannot win and will lose! Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 19 “ He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.” (Psalm 34:20 NKJV) Is this promise fulfilled by the crucifixion of Jesus? Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 18 “ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19 NKJV) So many times God uses the word all. Not some or many but all! Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 17 “ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (Ps alm 34:19 NKJV) Will the God Who gave His only begotten Son withhold and good thing from us? November 16 “ The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.” (Psalm 34:18 NKJV) Where is God when I hurt? November 15 “ The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17 NKJV) The first part is amazing but the second part is WOW! November 14 “ The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.” (Ps alm 34:16 NKJV) We may believe the loving God is nice but allowing evil to bring destruction is not nice . November 13 “ The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.” (Psalm 34:15 NKJV) The righteous (made right by God) can know God hears and sees. Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 12 “ Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” (Psalm 34:11 NKJV) What do others hear from you? Does what you say teach others to fear God? Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 11 “ The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.” (Ps alm 34:10 NKJV) We are surrounded by need and suffering but God provides what we NEED! November 10 “ Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.” (Ps alm 34:9 NKJV) For some fear has come to mean awe and wonder but it is good for us to fear the God Whose laws and heart we broke. November 9 “ «A Psalm of David.» Plead my cause, O LORD, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.” (Psalm 35:1 NKJV) When we say the glorious God is with us it also means He is on our side. November 8 “ The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.” (Psalm 34:7 NKJV) All around us is a spiritual battle and we must depend on God’s host to encamp around us. November 7 “ This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.” (Psalm 34:6 NKJV) Poverty has more to with our spirit than our wallets.   Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
November 6 “ They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.” (Ps alm 34:5 NKJV) Come into the presence of God and you will never be the same. Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.

November 2 “ «A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.» I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1 NKJV) Praise and bless the glorious God for keeping us from destruction. October 27 “ My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.” (Psalm 34:2 NKJV) Only a humble person will boast about God and only a humble person can understand. October 28 “ Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.” (Psalm 34:3 NKJV) The closer we are to God the more we will exalt the glorious God! Your prayer Give God thanks for what you have. Praise God for who He is. Ask for God to use you today.
October 26 “ «A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.» I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1 NKJV) In a very frightening time David responds by blessing and praising the glorious God.
October 25 “ And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”” (Matthew 27:46 NKJV) How can we understand how God could forsake Himself!
