Prayer for today

Father, today I pray all people would find freedom even in despotic nations. Your freedom is more than any government can take away from Your people.

Your freedom enables us to battle sin in ourselves and the community around us. Through our prayers and giving we can encourage and help those who pay the price of living in freedom in nations who fight against You.

Remind us freedom is a very expensive gift since it must be paid for by blood and death. Not only the blood and death of Jesus the Christ but also those who bleed and die that we may be free!!!

We thank them, their families and God for these gifts beyond price. In Jesus name.
