Daniel 11:39 “Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.

Some believe 11:36-39 is a statement of both the last days of Antiochus Epiphanes and the Anti-Christ. (David Guzik Daniel Commentary)

Prayer for today

Father, today I pray Your Church would stand up for You and the Truth. Truth is not something we decide but Jesus is Truth and the Bible is where Truth is revealed. May Your people be able to discern what is Truth and what is a lie by the Bible. May your people read, study and even devour the Bible to always be ready to know what is true and what is false. In Jesus name.
