Here comes pain my old friend
the pain does never seem to end
day and night from it must fend
my body, spirit, soul does bend
Flowing from my eyes are tears
my eyes almost blinded by tears
flowing down my face to my ears
disabled by the pain and fears
Will my friend pain ever go away
or has come unwanted to stay
sometimes wonder if I can pray
I awake and friend is back today
