Introduction

Heart Talks began as an attempt to journal through poetry. Putting my thoughts and feelings into poetry meant having to think through more deeply.

My Heart Talks were not meant for others but for me and God to communicate on a deeply personal level. Some contain things I would not share with others. They are honest expressions of shame, pain, loss, joy and about any other feeling or experience.

Almost 10 years ago I began to have symptoms which led to my being put on disability aster more than 30 years as a pastor. In the midst of the disability I received God's call to begin this blog which has become a devotional for the last few years.

The blog is entitled A Daily Dose of God's Glorious Love and began as showing how God worked to not save me from the pain but through it.

It is my hope and prayer God is glorified by this blog, peoples lives would be blessed and I will continue to be faithful to God's desire.
