Why do I feel so weary

not just being tired

but something deeper

it is something more


Sleep helps a little

but the weariness

it is beyond sleep

deeper than sleep


Weariness of pain

Weariness of meds

Weariness of loss

Weariness of soul


Others are sorry

but I cannot be

my pain is earned

my pain is deserved
