The Child wraps His tiny finger around mine

I look into His eyes seeing the fullness of time

He looks at me and He sees deep into my soul

All I am and have done lies naked in His gaze

I feel so afraid as I wonder what He is thinking

His face suddenly breaks into a loving smile

I am okay - I am accepted - the Child loves me
