The wise followed the Stars path

Blazing a trail we follow today

Yet we still find our own path

We must have our own journey

Our journey includes our family

Though we have our own journey

Our physical and spiritual family

Surrounding us on our pilgrimage

Many will not complete the journey

They will tire from the daily travel

This is a daily and grinding journey

Others get distracted by bright lights

Look forward to seeing the Christ Child

Seeing God's Son wrapped in virgin flesh

The love of God offered to us as a Child

As an nonthreatening offering of peace
