Empathy

I do not know what to do

I do not know what to say

I do not know where to go

I do not know why all this


I feel all of her pain

I feel all of their pain

I feel all of my pain

I feel even God’s pain


Can I give her faith to last

Can I give her hope for now

Can I give her peace today

Can I give her love to be

Only if I get it from God!
