Resurrection faith

Afraid of dying though never lived

Afraid of living until I died

Caught in the embrace of death

Caught in living without life

In dying I discovered real life

In dying I lost fear of death

To become alive I had to die

To become me God gave life

I walked the hills enjoying life

I walked the hills without death

I lived waiting for my death

I lived and discovered life

Disease died and I found life

Disease and I together died

Now I live in spite of death

Now death is lost in my life
