Lifting me above sin

Waves tossing over me

Crying out my lonely plea

Underneath the terrible sea

Chaos reigning over me


I cry out into the night

Screaming out my fright

There coming into sight

A Hand holding me tight


Jesus has heard my cry

He will not let me die

Always He is near by

Ready to hear my cry


Lifting me above sin!
