The fire of hell burns in my bones
all that is good is consumed by it
a smell of fire fills me and flows
The fire guts who I am and could
Only God can control this fire
only God can extinguish this fire
only God can convert the fire
to burn away the dross within me
No longer the burning in my soul
lessening the fire of lust and anger
bringing a coolness into my life
freeing me to live a full life
