I usually try to stay at least a week ahead on my blog in case I have health issues which keep me from preparing it. I got real far ahead this time but I needed to because this was a worse time than usual.

Do I not care about just talking with You

Do I consider God so unimportant to me

Tis the season for veterans all

It is also a reminder of my fall

Bloody corpses fill my mind

Flames of destruction do bind

Weariness leeches my soul

Feel my life is out of control

Fear of falling places in bind

Seeing death wrapped in life

Builds a heart filled with strife

My soul shredded by strife

Pieces part separate in life

My mind wont stay still

Weary from applying will

Chasing thoughts thicken

Am I chasing a chicken

It seems worse but usual

Is this to be my new usual

Am I being broken into bits

Am I losing all of my wits

Help me not to lose my way
