If I could only feel

Shadows are spiritual neuropathy

numbness not felt instead of pain

an undead emotionless numbness

left nolove, nojoy and a nonperson

With shadows love turns into fear

With shadows hope becomes despair

With shadows joy becomes numb

With shadows numbness is what is

I am weary from the weariness

I am empty from the emptiness

I am numb from the numbness

With the shadows I AM NOT
