“deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” (1Corinthians 5:5 NKJV)

God is willing to allow whatever physical harm in the hope our souls may be saved. Our soul is priceless and beyond anything in this world and as it declares in Hebrews the world is not worthy of the Christians who seek it’s redemption!
