“Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead.” (John 12:1 NKJV)

It is six days till Passover, just as it took six days for creation. The Passover would be the day Jesus laid down His life. The seventh day there was a time of rest and worship.
