“The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”” (John 12:19 NKJV)

Using the word you instead of we helps us see they are not admitting failure but placing blame. This verse helps us to see the Pharisees were not about protecting God from blasphemy (as if we can) but protecting their jobs and power.


Your prayer

Give God thanks for what you have.

Praise God for who He is.

Ask for God to use you today.
