““Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He.” (John 13:19 NKJV)

How can Jesus being betrayed help people believe “I am He.” Jesus uses the I am declaration stating He is the Messiah, the One all of Israel has waited for. All can know Jesus is the Messiah as the prophecies are fulfilled by His betrayal.
