January 17

“Now the LORD came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”” (1Samuel 3:10 NKJV)

God always communicates with us but will we respond “Speak, for Your servant hears.” That God came and called is understandable but what does it mean God “stood”? Stood has the meaning of being present in a continuous action. When God calls us He is present in a continuous action as we live our call out.

Give God thanks for what you have.

Praise God for who He is.

Ask for God to use you today.
