“The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin,” (Jeremiah 1:1 NKJV)

God reveals to us the person – Jeremiah, place – Anathoth and by revealing two generations - Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah. God reveals the messenger so he can become not just a character but a real person.
