December 17

“to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.” (Luke 1:27 NKJV)

There is so much here. Mary was a virgin engaged to “Joseph of the house of David.” Mary’s name is almost added as an afterthought. Both Mary and Joseph are honored by God but they were facing death to obey. Jesus would also honor the Father by obedience.

Give God thanks for what you have.

Praise God for who He is.

Ask for God to use you today.
