The journey to Bethlehem has begun

expectation seems to crackle in the air

creation awaits the Advent of hope

as salvation enters into time and space

as God wrapped in human flesh is born

as God enters our darkness as Light

and creation Mary holds her Creator

as the angels of heaven sing for joy

as shepherds worship the Shepherd

as the advent of God’s seed is born
