birds flutter at the feeder
darting splashes of colors
tiny finch’s dance and bob
chickadees wary as eating
wax wing’s almost majestic
cardinal’s light feeder up
dove’s push aside others
all part of life’s rainbow
each unique in their way
each part of life’s whole
