“and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:11 NKJV)
One of the early statements of faith for the “people of the way”, an early name for Christians, was “Jesus Christ is Lord” which is an admission we are not!
