“But
He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of
the house of Israel.”” (Matthew 15:24 NKJV)
Being
sent to Israel first is a theme Jesus would use and teach and by the
book of Acts we see this is how the early Church operated. There
would even be a debate by early Church leaders about how to welcome
in gentile converts.
