“The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.” (Revelation 21:23 NKJV)

      Before the sun, moon and stars were created there was Light. Jesus is the Light of the world before and during Creation and will continue to be our Light. The Lamb of God who takes away our sin is the Light and Life for us!

“having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.” (Revelation 21:11 NKJV)

     One of the finest cut diamond in the world is a marvel since it reflects the light with a many faceted glow. As the diamond turns it seems tall and thin at one point and short and wide at others. God purifies us so we can glorify God as we reflect His light and serve as needed where needed!

“After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!” (Revelation 19:1 NKJV)

      Alleluia is a two part word where the first part means to extol and brag and the second part is YAH - God. The rest of the passage fulfills that as the glory of God is indeed extolled and bragged about by the multitude in heaven!

“And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” (Revelation 16:9 NKJV)

      The glory of God must be shown by all. We believe when facing death people will repent and give God glory but this is not true. When faced with horrific pain many will blaspheme God which means to speak evil about, to abuse and slander.

“The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.” (Revelation 15:8 NKJV)

      The glory of God is greater than earth and even heaven can stand before. All is created and the glory of the Creator is beyond words and beyond sight!!!
