September 19
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’” (Exodus 15:9 NKJV)
Man is arrogant and thinks they not only can destroy god’s people but also overthrow God. Let us tremble in fear not for what they can do to us but for their souls!
September 18
And with the blast of Your nostrils The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.” (Exodus 15:8 NKJV)
How can you describe the parting of the sea for Israel? The writer offers us a glimpse of the power of the glorious God who is our shield and protection.
September 17
And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble.” (Exodus 15:7 NKJV)
Just as with Paul those who persecute God’s people are really persecuting God. The glorious God will overthrow them and consume them.
September 16
““Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.” (Exodus 15:6 NKJV)
Jesus sits at the right hand of God and His power is revealed to us!

September 15
The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone.” (Exodus 15:5 NKJV)
The glorious God can lift nations or cause them to sink to their destruction!
September 14
Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.” (Exodus 15:4 NKJV)
God did not just free Israel but destroyed the enemy who sought to destroy them.
September 13
The LORD is a man of war; The LORD is His name.” (Exodus 15:3 NKJV)
The name Lord used is Jehovah meaning the existing one. Jehovah comes from a root word meaning was, come to pass, came, has been, were happened, become, pertained.
