September 11
For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.” (Isaiah 51:3 NKJV)
The glorious God desires through redemption to bring the promise of Eden back. May we be glad and rejoice and sing!

Your prayer

Give God thanks for what you have.

Praise God for who He is.

Ask for God to use you today.

September 12
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” (Exodus 15:2 NKJV)
This song is a reminder of when God brought His people out of slavery in Egypt and after they passed through water closed it and destroyed Egypt. Those redeemed from sin and taken through the waters of baptism praise and exalt the glorious God!

September 10
““But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’” (Matthew 18:16 NKJV)
God desires to have fellowship with us and a fruit of that is a renewal of relationships with each other. The glorious God desires community.
September 9
““Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.” (Matthew 18:15 NKJV)
Arguments and disagreements are a certainty in life. The first step healing the relationship is to talk directly to them. Remember, God forgave you!
September 8
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” (Romans 13:14 NKJV)
Put on Jesus? For “the Lord Jesus Christ” IS our armor and protection from this world and ourselves.
September 7
Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.” (Romans 13:13 NKJV)
This world is not our home and as ambassadors of our glorious God we must live our lives for His glory!
September 6
The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12 NKJV)
The power of evil is waning and the Light is coming because of the glorious Lord of Light!
